As part of the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Guinness Book of Records, a unique meeting took place in London: two amazing women — the tallest and shortest representatives of the fair sex in the world — got together over a cup of tea, reports daily.afisha.ru.

Turkish web developer Rumeysa Gelgi, whose height reaches 215.16 cm, and Indian actress Jyoti Amge, who is only 62.8 cm tall, had an unforgettable tea party. Despite the colossal difference in height, 27-year-old Rumeysa and 30-year-old Jyoti quickly found a common language, discovering similar interests.

“I’m used to looking up and seeing people taller than me, but today I was so happy to look up and see the tallest woman in the world. I’m glad I met Rumeysa, she’s so good-natured, and I felt very comfortable talking to her,” Amge shared her impressions.

Gelgi, who has been diagnosed with the rare Weaver syndrome, uses her fame to support people who are different. “I want people to see that it’s okay to be different,” she emphasizes.

Both women earned their titles at different times: Jyoti was recognized as a record holder on her 18th birthday and later starred in the popular series American Horror Story, while Rumeysa received her title in 2021, becoming the first Turkish woman with confirmed Weaver syndrome.

It Is noteworthy that the tallest man in the world, Sultan Kosen, lives in Turkey. His height is 2 meters 46.5 centimeters. But the shortest man is Iranian Afshin Esmail Gaderzadeh with a height of 65.24 cm.
